Little Daisy (T6) was my daily drive, we decided to get a car to save her mileage and her general wear and tear, and for a few other non Daisy related reasons. However this now this gave us a potential opportunity to get something a bit bigger.
We absolutely love our set up with Little Daisy and the Glawning, it’s ideal for going to a campsite and staying in the same place for a week or so and going off exploring for the day… but we want to go wilder, we want to explore every corner, and be free to move on and roam more easily.
With three kids it’s just not practical, they are all growing really fast, they just about squeeze into the pop top now. What happens if there’s a storm and we need to close the pop top. Five on a rock and roll bed plus Stan, no thanks!! We really want to extend our camping to all year round, but again, drying five sets of wet weather gear over night..not easy.
Our answer is to go bigger and we’ve had our eyes set on Crafters for a long while. We are totally over the moon to introduce Big Daisy who is a long wheel base Crafter. She was a carpenters van and we have bought her completely bare.
The goal is to have her completed by August 2022, so we have decided to use a local conversion company to carry out the works, but all the design and layout is down to us.
